At the 2004 statewide CASBO convention in Sacramento, U&R’s nationally recognized “9-Step School Traffic Safety Solution” attracted the interest of hundreds of school administrators as the solution of choice. CASBO stands for the California Association of School Business Officials.

Frank Rosenblum presented on “How to Create Plans for Safer School Drop-Off Zones and Improved Traffic Flow.” U&R’s booth consistently attracted a crowd discussing the traffic safety issue. We also held a drawing for a baseball signed by Willie Mays.

CASBO selected Rosenblum to speak again at the 2005 Conference. He will add a section on new ADA drop-off space requirements. Plus another on a recent $2 million verdict against a school district for not taking action.

As a result of CASBO, U&R now is working on major new school traffic safety projects.
