As a leading provider of civil engineering and surveying in the K-12 education market, U&R participated in the California Coalition for Adequate School Housing (CASH) 44th Annual Conference on School Facilities trade show in Sacramento. We’ve been attending this conference for over 25 years and have always enjoyed connecting with current and past colleagues – and this year was no different. Overall attendance at this year’s conference was the highest in many years, further proving the conference’s importance.

U&R continues to attend the CASH conference in order to stay on top of education trends and to provide foresight for the future state of K-12. This year, frequent topics of conversation included the “new normal” of remote work and providing innovative learning environments for students. Other topics included finding new ways to be responsive to community needs, as well as the importance of having strong, competent and efficient design teams on education projects.

With U&R’s 40+ years of experience and close involvement with today’s challenges, our firm is in a leadership position to navigate the future. You’ll see this newsletter edition largely focuses on education, and the great work we’re doing in the K-12 market. We’re proud to continue these important relationships and provide meaningful work for California schools and students.
