U&R collaborated with HY Architects on the development of the Performing Arts Center at Mt.
Eden High School within the Hayward Unified School District. This contemporary 500-seat
facility features a spacious stage, adjustable orchestra pit, and state-of-the-art audio, visual, and
theatrical lighting systems. The design also includes comprehensive back-of-house support
spaces, as well as a green room equipped with dressing areas and restrooms.
Site improvements encompassed the creation of a welcoming entry plaza, upgrades to parking
facilities, enhanced landscaping, and civil engineering elements designed to meet current
stormwater management standards.
